FAQs

Are you insured?

Absolutely! My cameras are insured and I have a liability insurance. This is very important!

Can I pay with my credit card?

Yes you can! However, since there is a processing fee that credit card companies require, it is strongly encouraged to pay with cash or checks. I can also accept payment platforms such as Zelle, Venmo, Paypal and CashApp.

What happens if any of us get sick or injured before our scheduled photoshoot?

For a photoshoot, we can reschedule  and move your deposit to that new date as well.

If it's a wedding, i understand how important that day is. Should a serious and unavoidable circumstance, like an injury, prevent me from photographing your wedding, my first priority will be to find a qualified replacement photographer for you. If a suitable replacement cannot be secured, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid.

The clause on my contract states:

"In the unlikely event that a photographer is injured, becomes too ill, or is otherwise unable to photograph the event, Rose Sangco Photography will make every effort to secure a replacement photographer. If this situation should occur, and a suitable replacement is not found, photography liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event. If Rose Sangco Photography cannot perform this Agreement in whole or in part due to acts of God, nature forces (including extreme wind, rain, snow, earthquakes, storms, etc.), terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, Rose Sangco Photography will return all fees to the Client(s) but shall have no further liability with respect to this Agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of Photographer. Client agrees that an entire wedding cannot be replicated, reenacted or repeated for the purpose of a re-photographing and limits Rose Sangco Photography’s liability to the amount paid under this contract.”

How do you back up your files?

My camera shoots with two cards which already gives me a back up from the beginning. Then I upload or copy all of those images to a hard drive which gives me another back up and secures all of the images I've taken.

If I don't know what to wear for my photoshoot, would you help me with that?

This would be a fun activity to do together although I'm pretty sure you already have a pretty good idea what outfit you'll put on. i say whatever clothing you decide to wear, i hope it makes you feel your best and will put you in that right mindset to be ready for some fun photo session!

It's a challenge to photograph my child/children. Do you work well with kids?

I feel pretty confident to work with kids since I am a mom and i am surrounded with kids because almost all of my friends are mothers themselves and we often have get togethers. I always do my best to understand (and maybe accept) the fact that a photoshoot would not be necessarily fun for them so i bear in mind that the right approach is flexibility. i like to make them feel like they have a say in this experience and will involve them as much as possible in coming up with some fun or silly poses that they can think of.

Why are you not on Instagram? How do I follow you?

I am here for the love of photography, to keep honing my craft, and to respect the art. I do not exist to seek public validation or build a fanbase or prove that I have a big following on social media. I also value the privacy of my clients, especially that of our children's. In this day and age when it is very easy to expose them to harm posed by suspicious individuals online, I leave that choice up to them whether they want to post their photos online or not.  I put more weight on what my clients' personal opinion versus what Instagram users' or the general public have to say.

Since you're not on Instagram, how do I tag you when I want to share my photos online?

Should you choose to share these images online, please ensure that proper photo credit is given by linking back to my photography page. To maintain the integrity of the original work, please refrain from applying any filters or making additional edits.

Are you appreciating what you've seen so far?
